Recently, Baker McKenzie announced the addition of partner Dean Gerakiteys to its Sydney office. Gerakiteys joins from Clayton Utz accompanied by senior associates Grace Griffiths and Antonia Wayne-Boyle.

During his 14-year tenure at Clayton Utz, where he was a partner in the national IP litigation group, Gerakiteys developed extensive experience across the full spectrum of IP disputes, spanning high-stakes patent, trademark, and trade secret litigation. In addition to his trial expertise, he advises global brands on advertising law, consumer protection, and the complex regulatory frameworks governing therapeutic goods, covering the entire lifecycle of their technical and commercial assets.
