White & Case LLP recently announced the addition of a four-partner life sciences litigation team, all of whom were previously with A&O Shearman.

The team focuses on the life sciences sector, representing pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device companies in disputes involving patents, trade secrets and licensing. The team comprises Elizabeth Holland and Daniel Margolis based in New York, Nicholas Mitrokostas based in Boston, and William James based in Washington, D.C.

Holland previously served as co-head of Global Intellectual Property Litigation at A&O Shearman. Upon joining White & Case, she will lead the firm’s Global Life Sciences Intellectual Property Litigation Practice.Mitrokostas, formerly Managing Partner of the Boston office of A&O Shearman, will serve as co-head of the firm’s Global Life Sciences and Healthcare Industry Group at White & Case.
